Galaxy Exchange Company
Galaxy Exchange Company, better known as GEC, is the exclusive exchange company available to owners of timeshares managed by Island One Resorts Hospitality Group. GEC gives owners a level of flexibility, separate from their basic reservation options. Through this internal system, they can exchange their full interval week at their home resort for a week at other GEC resorts. It is another option that ensures they get the vacation they want.
If they can't vacation in a year, they can deposit their vacation interval with GEC. They then have 24 months to internally exchange their deposit for a seven-day vacation at one of the GEC resorts. Membership in GEC is free. There is an exchange fee upon receipt of reservation confirmation. Larger units and higher seasons may be available with upgrade fees.
