Beware of Resale and Rental Solicitations

Island One Resorts Hospitality Group (IORHG) has received several calls in recent weeks regarding companies soliciting our vacation owners to resell or rent their intervals. The companies are stating that they have a ready buyer or renter for your interval. The companies may even state that they are an affiliated partner of IORHG or other brands including hotels.com.They are not affiliated with Club Navigo or Island One Resorts.
These resale/rental companies require an upfront resale/rental listing fee. As with any telephone solicitation, be thoroughly knowledgeable of whom you are dealing with prior to making any transactions over the phone or via the internet.
The American Resort Development Association (ARDA), the international trade association for the vacation ownership industry, offers resale guidelines that will help you in this process, should you decide you truly want to sell your vacation interval.
